This luxury sake made headlines when Roki Sasaki, star pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, presented it to infielder Miguel Rojas after giving up his jersey number in 2025! A masterpiece from the brewery behind "Zaku" featuring brilliant ginjo aroma and silky smooth palate.

Released in 2019 to commemorate the brewery's 150th anniversary, this is Suzukagawa's highest-grade offering. The luxurious mash, made from Yamada Nishiki rice polished to 40%, is cold-fermented, then placed in bags and hung to allow only the naturally dripping sake to be collected without applying pressure.

This exquisite creation is the result of meticulous brewing, representing the pursuit of ultimate perfection. The delicate sweetness and rich flavor maintain precise balance while delivering a youthful, fresh impression. The elegant aroma, fullness, and remarkable clarity create a taste experience that exudes sophistication and refinement!

This premium sake features a brilliant ginjo fragrance, silky smooth mouthfeel, and crisp, clean sweetness. Perfect for special celebrations or as a distinguished gift.

Brewery Story

Crafted with local water and rice.

Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten, founded in 1869, is located in Suzuka, which is famous for its Formula One race track. In this region, which is blessed with limpid subterranean water from the Suzuka Mountains and high-quality rice from the Ise Plain, the brewing industry has long flourished. But many of these breweries have been forced out of business, and Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten is now the only brewery in Suzuka. The brewery uses mainly Mie rice grown by local contract farmers and brews on a small scale all year round. The brewery aims to craft a light sake that smoothly harmonizes with food, in pursuit of sake that fits with today's diverse cuisines.
